They certainly won't be receiving any more support or updates from Microsoft. Thinkx2 hasn't released the ROM yet, and probably for good reason: While he states that everything is working, it's apparently quite buggy.However, he has released a proof-of-concept video to prove that Android 7.1 does indeed boot on the three-year-old smartphone. This is fantastic news, since the Nokia Lumia 520 is one of the more widely-used and active Windows phones, falling second only to the Nokia Lumia 535. Check out the video to see for yourself.
