News: Samsung's Super Budget Friendly Galaxy J3 & J7 Coming Unlocked on September 14
Earlier this year, Samsung released the Galaxy J3 and J7 to select markets. These two devices are the latest in the J series, Samsung's super-budget series that tries to rewrite what it means to be a budget phone. Now, starting September 14th, you will be able to get them GSM unlocked.As an unlocked device, you no longer need to worry about carrier bloatware. You also are not tied to one network, gaining the ability to move your phone to another GSM network of your choosing by switching SIM cards. This also lets you travel overseas easily, using prepaid cards which are much cheaper than using your carrier plan.

Great Battery LifeWhen you combine a decently-sized battery with a 720p display, you will get all day battery life, and that's exactly what Samsung has done with the J3 and J7. Both are equipped with 720p screens at different sizes. The Galaxy J3 has a 5-inch display while the J7 has a 5.5-inch screen. To compensate for this difference, Samsung also adjusted the battery capacity accordingly, pairing the J3 with a 2,600 mAh battery and the J7 with a 3,300 mAh power cell. Price & AvailabilityThe unlocked versions of the Galaxy J3 and J7 will be available on September 14. The Galaxy J3 will available on Samsung's website for $169.99, while the Galaxy J7 will go for $249.99.
